Winter

Winter in the Killington Pico Region

Winter turns the Killington Pico area into a snow-covered playground.

Killington and Pico offer the most downhill terrain in the Northeast, but winter here goes well beyond the ski trails. Snowshoe through quiet woods, ride hundreds of miles of groomed snowmobile trails, take a horse-drawn sleigh ride, or simply drive through picturesque Vermont villages after a fresh snowfall. Local shops, outfitters and guides make it easy to gear up and get out.
